The Full Plate Project is a critical frontline intervention addressing chronic hunger and malnutrition in some of the most vulnerable communities across the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Every week, we provide over 500 meals to children, families, and individuals facing daily food insecurity. We place a deliberate focus on children under the age of 12, where the effects of malnutrition are most devastating and long-lasting. In these early years, a lack of proper nutrition does not only impact physical growth; it directly impairs brain development, concentration, school performance, and ultimately, a child’s future potential.
